The X-6 is designed for larger vessels, where owners prefer a single centralized unit to supply purified water throughout the boat rather than several units inconveniently placed around it. For example, a high-end sport fisher with a large galley, multiple heads, two ice makers, and a wet bar can be served by one X-6 instead of multiple small purifiers.
