Replacement Plug-In Base Seal Kit for Dometic/Sealand electronic flush VacuFlush toilets with plug-in style bases.

The bowl seal is the primary barrier that keeps water in the bowl between flushes by maintaining the vacuum seal at the base of the toilet housing. When this seal wears out, the bowl will not hold water — it will slowly drain out of the bowl after flushing.

If your VacuFlush toilet’s bowl empties itself between flushes, or water won’t stay in the bowl overnight, the bowl seal in this kit is almost certainly the component to replace.

Kit includes:

• Teflon-coated bowl seal
• Black rubber cushion
• Hardware

Compatible with: Dometic/Sealand models 3600, 3606, 3609, 3648, 4700, 4706, 4709, 4800, 4806, and 4848 full ceramic VacuFlush toilets with plug-in style bases. Not compatible with 3000 Series bolt-down style bases.

Installation tips:

• Shut off the fresh water supply and bleed vacuum pressure from the system before removal.
• Lift the bowl straight up from the base
• Peel the old seal from the bowl base; clean any residue before fitting the new seal.
• Apply a thin layer of silicone grease to the new seal for proper seating. We recommend Super Lube® Synthetic Grease (SKU 82340).
• After reassembly, restore water and vacuum, then test for bowl water retention.
