Complete Drive Arm Upgrade Kit for Dometic 4000 Series VacuFlush electronic flush toilets. This is the factory-replacement solution for the motor-cycling problem that affected pre-2015 toilets.

In early January 2015, Dometic redesigned the flush drive arm for the 4000 Series VacuFlush toilet. The updated drive arm features a small “bump” on its profile that ensures the flush actuation limit switch disengages cleanly at the end of each flush cycle. Without this feature, the motor can continue cycling — repeatedly attempting to return the flush ball — rather than stopping cleanly. If your 4000 Series VacuFlush toilet’s motor runs on longer than expected after a flush, or the toilet seems to “hunt” or cycle without completing a clean stop, the pre-2015 drive arm design is almost certainly the cause.

How to tell if your toilet needs this kit: Check the serial number on your toilet. Toilets with serial numbers beginning 501XXXXXX or later already have the updated drive arm installed. If your serial number is earlier than this range, this upgrade kit is the correct repair.

This kit is also the only way to purchase drive arm 385311392, as it is no longer sold as an individual component.
